Every item, not just plastic
Material, electricity, machine depreciation, maintenance, failed prints, your labour, consumables and overhead. Failure is amortised properly — f/(1−f), not «plus ten percent».
IMPORT
Read straight from the slicer
PrusaSlicer, Cura, Bambu, Orca, SuperSlicer, ideaMaker, Simplify3D, plus .3mf and resin .ctb. Format is detected by signature, not by file extension — renamed files still work.

Drop an STL, OBJ or 3MF: volume, size, weight by density and a rotating preview. Huge meshes are simplified without holes. The file never leaves your device.

What we will never do
Never charge for the maths
Every cost item, every formula, every importer stays free. Paid features organise a workshop — they never buy you accuracy.
Never upload your files
G-code, models and prices are parsed on your device. There is no server to send them to, and that is a design decision, not a missing feature.
Never demand an account
Open, calculate, close. An account will only ever be for syncing between your own devices — and it will stay optional.
Never call an estimate a fact
Time estimated from a model is labelled an estimate. Solid-body weight is labelled an upper bound. A number that looks exact but isn’t costs more than an honest range.

Is it really free?
The calculator and all of its cost items are free forever, with no account and no limits. Paid plans will cover workshop organisation — stock, clients, analytics — once they launch.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, in the browser or app storage. Nothing is uploaded. You can export everything to a backup file at any time and restore it elsewhere.
How accurate is the print time from a model?
It is an estimate from volume, height and a quality profile — and it is labelled as one. A sliced file is always exact, so import G-code whenever you have it.
My printer isn’t in the list.
Add it in one screen: price, expected service life, watts and failure rate. The 63 presets exist so you correct numbers instead of inventing them.
Which currency and language?
Any currency through your device locale, with an optional exchange rate for the dollar-priced catalogue. Seven languages: English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish.
